Site title wraps, would like to lengthen or reduce font size

On my home page, I am using a site title in the settings in lieu of a logo as it appears crisper when it is viewed on the screen. Can I reduce the font or else make the company name fit on one line, instead of wrapping as it does?

I was also wanting to add the tag line of the site to the header, and would like to know if this is possible.

    You can use some custom css added to the theme options to reduce the font size of your logo...

    #logo h1, #logo h2 {
    font-size: 24px;

    To add in a your site description, you would need to edit the header.php file. It would be best to copy this file into a child theme and make the edit there so you don't lose the changes when updating the theme...

    Insert it inside the logo link, just after the site name is outputted...

    <?php if ( $logo = of_get_option('of_logo') ) { ?>
                        <img src="<?php echo $logo; ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?>" />
                        <?php } else { bloginfo( 'name' );} ?>
                        <?php bloginfo('description'); ?>

    The <?php bloginfo('description'); ?> is the new code here. This will use the description for your site you set at Settings->General.
