Hi Guys,

I have created sub child pages of the main portfolio pages, however they are appearing in the main grid with all the others.
How do I exclude them so that only parent items appear in the grid please.

Cheers
Rich

    Hi,

    I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to? Portfolio items are not hierarchical by default, so they shouldn't have children. Did you edit the grid queries to also pull in Pages?

    To return only parent posts or pages in a WP_Query, you can add a 'post_parent' parameter...

    'post_parent' => 0,

    Using 0 will only return top level pages.

    Eric
